Privacy first measurement supplier comparison: three England firms by service model
Measurement supplier comparison of three England firms by service model, buyer dependency and evidence gaps, without ranking or invented results.
This privacy first measurement supplier comparison is a service-model check, not a verdict on quality. Measurelab, Anders Analytics and Metric Owl publish materially different delivery shapes. In shape, Measurelab is a consultancy, Anders Analytics a specialist agency and Metric Owl an individual consultant.
What to take away
- Buyers should match the delivery shape to their own capability before shortlisting.
- Each model raises distinct dependency questions about continuity, handover and control.
- Technology emphasis and stated deliverables differ, so one brief will produce three different scopes.
- No pricing, minimum scope or references are published by the three firms.
Comparison method
First-party pages were reviewed on 5 September 2026. Providers were included because they publish an England or UK base and specific analytics audit, implementation or support services. Common criteria were team shape, stated scope, technology emphasis, continuing support and buyer-side evidence still required.

The descriptions report what each provider says.
No published price list or minimum engagement size was found on the pages reviewed, and none of the three publishes client references or case evidence. Ask each provider for a costed proposal for a defined engagement and two contactable references.
Anders Analytics
The Anders Analytics company page describes a London team focused on tracking implementation, audits and governance, reporting, and data integrations. It says clients work directly with specialists and that the firm does not sell software licences or take vendor kickbacks.
This published model may suit a buyer wanting a small specialist team. Before selection, request the proposed people, responsibilities, subcontractors, data access, deliverables, accessibility practice, conflict declaration and handover. Verify independence for the actual engagement rather than relying on a general website statement.
Measurelab
Measurelab's solutions page presents a foundation audit, short framing engagement and ongoing data assurance. Its stated stack centres on Google products and cloud-built data products, although it says the buyer owns delivered infrastructure and documentation.
The breadth may fit a more complex platform need, but it creates questions about processor roles, cloud regions, sub-processors, licences, reusable intellectual property and continuing dependence. Ask which elements are advisory, implemented or managed, and demand a reproducible export and exit exercise before commitment.
Metric Owl
Metric Owl's service page identifies an independent London consultant providing GA4 audits, configurations, training, BigQuery connections and reporting. It names the person who says he performs the work and publishes individual service scopes.
Direct delivery may reduce account-management distance. It also makes capacity, peer review, incident cover and succession material. The buyer should obtain named backup arrangements, professional insurance evidence, secure-access controls, deletion procedures and a boundary between advice and legal review.
Which model fits whom
- Choose Anders Analytics if you already run analytics in house and want a small specialist group for audits, tracking and governance work.
- Choose Measurelab if the platform is complex or spans several markets and you want consultancy plus continuing assurance.
- Choose Metric Owl if the task is contained, such as a GA4 audit or a BigQuery connection, and you prefer to deal with the practitioner directly.
Apply the same evidence request
Send each candidate one data-flow scenario and the same required outputs. A concrete example: a visitor clicks a paid search ad, books a demonstration on the site, and a sales colleague follows up by email three days later.
Ask for:
Same evidence request to each
- Named delivery staff and subcontractors
- Role analysis for every processing purpose
- Hosting, remote access and transfer routes
- Security assurance with scope, date, exceptions
- Accessible working and deliverable formats
- Test plan, acceptance criteria, defect process
- Export, documentation, knowledge transfer, deletion
- named delivery staff and subcontractors;
- role analysis for every processing purpose;
- hosting, remote access and transfer routes;
- security assurance with scope, date and exceptions;
- accessible working and deliverable formats;
- test plan, acceptance criteria and defect process; and
- export, documentation, knowledge transfer and deletion at exit.
Ask each candidate how its work maps onto the ICO's controller and processor guidance, which makes legal status depend on real functions, not a supplier category. Then ask how it applies the NCSC supply-chain guidance, which recommends proportionate security requirements and contract flow-down.
Qualified privacy, security and commercial reviewers must assess the chosen proposal. This comparison cannot endorse a provider or guarantee its work.
Before you act
- Anders Analyticsconfirm which named specialists own each stage and who covers absence.
- Measurelabconfirm which artefacts, code and platform controls pass to you, and the exit test.
- Metric Owlobtain named backup cover, professional insurance evidence and a succession plan.
Common questions
What is the main difference between the three providers?
The delivery shape and the dependency it creates, more than the analytics tasks on offer. The table above sets out each stated technology emphasis, and the fit block sets out who each model suits.
What evidence should a buyer request from each provider?
The same seven items from every candidate: named staff and subcontractors, role analysis, hosting and transfers, security assurance, accessible formats, test and acceptance, and exit arrangements.
What are the limitations of this comparison?
It is a desk review of first-party pages dated 5 September 2026. Treat it as a starting point for due diligence, not a substitute for your own checks.
